Professor George Howard will be a key note speaker at the SSA Annual Scientific Meeting 2010 in Melbourne, Australia, presenting a talk on the understanding of racial and regional disparities in stroke mortality – titled 'A Glass Half Full'. International Journal of Stroke's Managing Editor, Carmen Lahiff-Jenkins discussed this presentation with Professor Howard and also talked about the REGARD study and Professor Howard's passion for patients.
