Gordon Conochie Joint Policy and Parliamentary Officer at the Princess Royal Trust for Carers joins us about some alarming new research which reveals 80% of new monies given by the UK Government to Primary Care Trusts in 2009/10 has not been used to increase support for Carers as it was intended. We also make a stop in Australia to discuss a study entitled ' The Tyranny of distance which reveals how the great distances within Australia creates an added dimension in dealing with Carers in remote areas.
